Vase, 19th Century

China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)

Blue and white Polcelain

This vase was made in the 19th century of the Qing Dynasty. It is a porcelain object in blue and white glaze. The vase has a wider opening, the neck runs narrower. In the middle, the vase becomes more bulbous again, while the foot is minimally narrowed. There are decorated handle-like shapes on the left and right sides of the neck. The object is painted only on one side, the reverse side, with the exception of porous areas, is completely white. The motif chosen is a floral one. In the center there is a large vase with floral pattern on a small stand table. Around the vase are smaller vases, floral patterns as well as butterflies.
